My 7th Grade Classes

01 Keyboarding
This was my third marking period class for first period. Keyboarding is taught my Mrs. Zimmerman. She's pretty strict when it comes down to typing, but otherwise is pretty laidback. I wasn't even told offfor wearing a baret (a French hat) for no apparent reason. (I did have to take it off though.) You spend most of your time typing up exercises in the Keyboarding book. If you are a fairly fast typist, you'll be done in a few weeks. Since I can type pretty fast (second fastest in the class I believe) I spent the rest of Keyboarding talking. I'm not disrespectful though, I just have a natural disregard for the "Silence is Golden" rule.

01 P.E/Health
Basically P.E. sucks. The only time you can ever like this god-forsaken class is when we actually play sports. Most of the time you spend running in circles, doing warmups or worse of all, for the seventh graders, abstinence education (bare-boned sex ed.) It's actually an easy pass class if you can tolerate it...if you hand in those weekly assignments (which I don't ^__~). To sum it all up...shit.

01 Tech. Expl. 1
When you first start this class, it looks tough. I had this class first hour for the fourth marking period. It's easier than P.E. though. Lol. Anyways, in Tech I, you get a new partner and a new module ever 8-9 days or so. Each module has a high-tech name (e.g. air flight simulation). But amazingly, I found it really easy. I got an A on every single module *grin*. Woo hoo.

02 Concert Band
I really enjoy this class! Even though I love my clarinet & music, I do not fair well with placings. Nothing much to say about this class, 67 kids in one room "tooting". Yup. O.K, we actually play pretty well (placed really high in the district and state festival.)

03 Social Studies
I don't know what to say about this class. It is co-teached, but Mrs. Auker usually takes center stage with back-up Mrs.Bustillos. It's an alright class, pretty easy to pass :P I love doing projects, but we are often give unrealistic time-limits. They are really nice, but they treat us like...children. I don't mind, but when adults deal with children, they are often very redundent, repeating "Don't talk" and "What does this mean?". That's the main problem.

04 English
Now, I won't say I'm good at English. In fact, grammar continues to confound me. But, reading is something I am good at. I love reading beyond all doubt. So, with much effort, I do really well in this class :) Mrs. Langlois is strict about homework, but is seriously a nice woman.

05 Science
I take A LOT of notes in this class. Not that I mind, but the problem is I space out in this class. I mean, I start staring into Mr.White, but not really listening. However, Mr. White does a lot of projects and I love projects. ^_^ However, this systematic stuff is really..confining. Luckily, Mr. White is a nice guy and if you're on his good side, you'll love his class.

06 Algebra
If you were paying attention, you will notice that I am a 7th grader. However, I do take this class. It is supposedly 2 years ahead of my grade (I just found that out), so next year I take Geometry (blergh). Anyways, Mr.Abram is a really funny and nice guy and I do pretty well in this class. I am getting slightly confused though (Pygother..what?)
