Here is an in-depth look at this layout...
My site is known for notorious, graphic heavy layouts. This is one of the worst, by the way. The best part is, I like it so much, I'm not going to change it for quite a while. The main layout image, would be the SUPER HELLO KITTY image over to your right. My frind, Jessie, wrote a drew these lovely letterings during French class. I scanned it and designed it a bit. I used a lot of this smoky grid stuff, which I learned from Violette Designs..
At the top, you'll see the bright red words HELLO KITTY UNIVERSE over a rectangle of white smoky squares. The rectangle is put there to cover up a banner ads. I used the font Beach House Stars for it, as well as many of the other word images used on the layout.
To the far right, you'll see the cloudy sandy rectangle. That is put there just because. It serves no purpose right now, though I may add stuff to it later. To the bottom left of the vacant rectangle lies a black square. This box contains updates which have been done to the page.
The little 'picture frame' image I made is what I use to place my text in. I don't use IFrames, all of the text is DIV-ed, if that's the correct word. On top of this frame, the words HISTORY are used, made the same way I made the title. These words change with each section of the website, if you didn't notice.
To the left are the words 'BACK' and 'FORWARD'. These can be used to go back and forward, in case you didn't know it. Other aspects of the website you should note is that I don't always keep going with the same layout. Much of the content pops-up, because I like pop-ups. Sorry if you don't, but it won't hurt you. At least there not ads. Anyways, these pop-ups usually have different layouts. Some other pages of the site will have different layouts simply because they are a pretty large section themselves.
As for the content, it's all original. I do get ideas and stuff from other sites but all the text is written by me unless otherwise noted. I also make my own graphics, which is why they're not really great but I made them myself and am proud of that fact alone.
